The LineWelder TLW30 can connect 30# nylon or fluoro leaders to braided line in just 30 seconds.
To form a weld a unique polymer adhesive is injected into the TLW30 mold fixture.
The LineWelder forms a small, smooth connection that doesn't pick up weeds or dirt.
The system can also be used to quickly attach hooks or lures to lines or leaders.

Frequently Asked Questions
I already know how to tie knots – why would I need a LineWelder?
- LineWelding provides better line strength than a traditional knot, which compromises the lines by twisting, kinking and bending.
- Tying good braid-to-monofilament knots is time consuming even for veteran anglers. With the TLW30 you can have that bond completed in seconds.
What types of line can the TLW30 work with?
- Monofilament, fluorocarbon or braided line up to .02″ in diameter – this converts to a 30 lb. leader (monofilament or fluorocarbon), or 80 lb braid.
What line brands does the TLW30 work with?
- With proper line cleaning the TLW30 is compatible with any brand of line. Keep in mind that the Tauten CleanLine™ (included in the kit) is pre-treated and doesn’t require cleaning.
I have impaired manual dexterity – will the TLW30 work for me?
- Absolutely; the TLW30 requires much less handwork than a traditional knot, and your bonds can even be completed with one hand!
