Returns Policy

At Tauten we stand by the quality of our products but above all we want to ensure that you are comfortable with your purchase.  If you are not totally satisfied with your Tauten product contact us within one year of purchase and we will do whatever it takes to resolve the issue, including replacing or refunding your order.  Just call our customer service department at (978) 961-3272, ext. 2.

Tauten’s return & warranty policy does not apply to products purchased from

Tauten®  Limited Product Warranty
Tauten warrants that your new Tauten Product will be free of defects in materials or workmanship under normal home use for the period listed in the table below from the date of purchase. Tauten will, at its option, repair or replace the Tauten Product without charge, or will refund your purchase price. Warranty limitations include: alteration, theft, loss or misuse of your Tauten Product, in each case as determined by Tauten. If a replacement Tauten Product is supplied under this warranty, the replacement Tauten Product may be new or reconditioned, at Tauten’s discretion. If Tauten ships you a replacement Tauten Product, the replacement Tauten Product will carry a new Warranty with a new warranty period as described below, measured from the date of shipment. Tauten will cover all shipping costs (United States only) for authorized returns.

This warranty is applicable to Tauten Products in the United States only.  This warranty applies only to Tauten Products purchased directly from Tauten  or from a Tauten authorized distributor or retailer. It does not apply to unauthorized resellers or third parties THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL.  TAUTEN SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS  ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  IN NO EVENT SHALL TAUTEN, INC. BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may have other rights, which vary, from state to state.

If your Tauten Product purchase  date falls outside of the  guarantee period, or if the damage is caused by one of the warranty exceptions listed above, , Tauten will contact you to discuss repair and payment options.

To make use of this limited product warranty, simply follow the steps below.

1. Contact Tauten Customer Service.

If we cannot resolve the issue over the phone, and your Tauten Product problem qualifies under our Limited Warranty guarantee, our Customer Service department will issue you a Return Materials Authorization (RMA).

2. Package your Tauten Product carefully via an insured and trackable service, such as UPS.
Carefully box all parts of your order in a single package; include the original receipt or print out of the invoice you received upon ordering. The warranty is invalid if you do not enclose an original receipt showing proof of purchase.

3. Ship your package.

4. Receipt of your Repaired/Replaced Tauten Product.
Confirmation of receipt of your Tauten Product will be sent to you via email. If Tauten elects to send you a replacement unit, your repaired unit , or a new or reconditioned unit, will then be shipped to you at our expense (United States locations only).
